Cajun Creamy Shrimp Pasta
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound linguine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- ¼ cup dry, white wine
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- ¼ cup chopped, fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 oz Ultra Natural Cajun Shrimp
DIRECTIONS
- Cook linguine according to package directions. Save and set aside 1 cup of pasta water. Drain the remaining water, place linguine in a bowl.
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan and whisk in flour. Cook until slightly golden brown and bubbly.
- Whisk in white wine and heavy whipping cream. Keep whisking to prevent lumps from forming.
- Whisk in reserved pasta water, cajun seasoning and parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cajun shrimp into the linguine.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
